As the regulator of the whole dental team in the UK, one of our responsibilities is to quality assure both undergraduate and specialty education and training, to make sure that each programme meets our standards. It is our statutory duty to ensure that new graduates fulfil the required learning outcomes in order to register with us.
We continue to fulfil our responsibilities, approving new dental education programmes, assuring the quality of existing programmes and introducing new processes to quality assure specialist dental training and assessments.
The annual Review of Education report sets out the education quality assurance activity that we have carried out in an academic year. The current Review of Education report 2023-24 looks at all activity between August 2023 to July 2024.
